There is an Extremely Low Frequency ranging from 6 Hz to 50 Hz. It's maximum is at 7.93 Hz. This is the Earth's natural electro-magnetic resonance. It has been discovered theoretically by Winfried Otto Schumann in 1952. Later on Nikola Tesla has made a proposition to use these frequencies for wireless transmission of power. This would let anyone in anyplace around the globe be able to communicate freely and wirelessly. This music has absolutely no connection to the above. It's just an...

Try to imagine a clear sky. Only blueness over your head. Nothing more. However there is a sun there. Blindingly noticable. You hear no sound. No sound except the music of the open sky. You sit in your window. Listening to bamboo windchimes. You listen to the wind. Clouds give you harmonies. This is timeless. You listen until you sleep. You wake up to listen more. That open sky. It is fascinating.

This is the first release of RAIN netlabel. The label itself is an initiative to promote ambient and electronic music. Martin Dot is the creator or RAIN label and netlabel. He's also an ambient musician, a drummer and an accordeonist. Spectrum Generator is his first full album, recorded some years ago. The idea of it was to catch techno-like ideas and sounds into ambient way of understanding the music. The result is a concept album describing various machine works.

She was ill. Laying in her bed. Her beloved white roses weren't there to help. Without roses the solitude is much greater. The day was fourteenth and the month was second. She was waiting for a long time. Each minute was a long time. Without roses even seconds were called long. She did not know what to await for. Then the roses came. Enclosed within a flat surface, shattered and streamed into barely visible dots. But they were. They were audible. They had no scent, no look, no aura. But they...

This album starts the series of five best works by Martin Dot. Chosen not chronologically, but intentionally as the first one Metro presents the idea of encapsulating time into repetitive events, like between one arrival of a train and the next one. Such repeated event is a constant. But it's also variable, as there is no possibility of such two identical events. That's what this album tries to show. Constant variability or variable constance. We hope you'll enjoy it as we do. all tracks by...

Have you ever wondered how lightbulbs sound? Yes, it is a noisy sound. Constant electrical pulses, artfificial light. The resonance of air around it. All this makes music. Yet, so quiet, it is barely audible. This release comes with a special poster in pdf format!

Another fine release from RAIN netlabel main composer. This piece was composed some time ago, short after Nevada EP session. The sounds are very shattered, quirky and organic. And there is the timeless sentence: 'Houston we've got a problem here...'. Enjoy.

What have we been kept unaware of? What is the unknown? Why should we care? There are reasons why we should. But let's do it with music! And this EP is so spaced out it's almost groovy. Get a flight yourself.

The first collaborative initiative on netlabel. An EP by Martin Dot and Umisetsu (its her first official recording) is a barely audible soundscape of radiowaves and distortions.

The second collaboration by Martin Dot and Umisetsu. This music is full of etereal, lush chords and subtle piano drops.

One session of improvised accordion music was recorded. Then this sound material was cut, shattered one could say. Then each fragment was heavily processed. And this is the result of that processing. The accordions were played by Martin Dot and R.Kujawa. Processing was done by Martin Dot except tracks 3 and 4, wchich were processed by Umisetsu. The result of all this processing is music full of tension, noise music. Credits: R. Kujawa & Martin Dot - accordions Martin Dot (except tracks 3,4...
